Hi, I noticed the project takes up a lot of memory. I run it all the time so I checked when Chrome said there was not enough memory to load a page... I opened task manager and saw it sometimes takes up to 80% of the PC's memory which is 8GB(!) Pausing the project did the trick and everything was OK. There are these functions "slumber" and "slumber GPU" in the Boinc manager. Do they mean it only works when the PC is out of use? Could be a solution then. But how is it possible for 1 project to take up to 80% of 8GB? PS The PC has Windows 10 Pro with AMD A10-7860K Radeon R7, 12 Compute Cores 4C+8G under the hood |

Current applications use ~440 MB per one CPU task and ~2 GB per one GPU task. Don't run many tasks at the same time: one CPU + one GPU task is enough. |

There are only running 2 tasks at the same time. And I wouldnt know where to change that... :-) But even with 4GB in use, the PC still has 4 GB (3+1virtual) left.... I don't understand especially while a browser like Chrome isn't quite a memory-eater...... |

So slumber GPU should do the trick? |

Try to reduce kernel size for AMD GPUs in project preferences: https://sech.me/boinc/Amicable/prefs.php?subset=project It should reduce memory size used by GPU tasks. |
