Does it matter which version of OpenCL is installed on my machines? Just wondering if my machines with OpenCL 1.2 would crunch faster if OpenCL 2.1 support was installed.

edit: I'm a novice regarding drivers and OpenCL, so apologies if this is a dumb question.

No, the program runs the same code for all OpenCL versions. It does matter however how old GPU drivers are. Newer drivers generally have better OpenCL compiler, and the program should run faster with them.
