I took over ownership of a team yesterday as the original founder isn't around any more.
As there weren't any active members I removed them all and closed the team down.

Today I received the following email:

"An instance of the BOINC-wide team 'Team England (Boinc)'
has been created on the project:
name: Amicable Numbers
URL: https://sech.me/boinc/Amicable/"

Why has it been re-created?

Only because it is a wide team !
It is very powerfull.
By taking over from original fouder, you became wide team founder.
With result your mail was associated with the CPID of team (who not change).
So Boinc discovered the "new"
By deleting and recreating, the association was still in database.
If you had wait at least 24 hours, (time for synchro/replication) between Boinc and project, it did not happen.

As far I see your team has ID 2136 (on boincstats : team ID165954) with two users : you and a other user (ID11342 on this project.
On Boincstat 159 members with you at top with a total credit about 2.3G.

Be also attentive that it is a second team called "Team England" (without " (boinc) ID : 77969
With the same link to team internet site (england.forum5.com) !?
But this second team did nothing the latest 40 days !
And have only 5 users (inactive) !
Total credits : 617.188.

Probably the same team (old and new) !
