Hi guys,

i'm new and while crunching this WU noticed the last 20% was done with only 2 cores working.

The thing is, boinc has already assigned the 4 cores to Amicable.. so i have half CPU stalled, still there are 4 other WU waiting in the pipe that can't crunch. Is there a way to force Amicable to use all four cores until 100% is reached?.

Regards
PD: sorry about my english.
Update: the last 10% is using only one core and lasting forever!.

You will find that most projects with multi-threaded apps do not fully utilize all of the cores/threads 100% of the work unit. However, it needs to reserve the designated cores/threads for when the work unit needs it. The admin may be able to give you better insight on how his applications utilize them though.

Most WUs use 100% CPU most of the time, and only finish threads in the last 10-20 seconds. You were just unlucky with that specific WU.
