I looked at these two recently completed WU: https://sech.me/boinc/Amicable/workunit.php?wuid=13407446 https://sech.me/boinc/Amicable/workunit.php?wuid=13407136 https://sech.me/boinc/Amicable/workunit.php?wuid=13403818 My computer is the one spending an order of magnitude more CPU time on them. The last one and I have the same video card. I'm guessing it could be a Windows vs Linux bug? (Although mine shows NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (1977MB) driver: 440.64 OpenCL: 1.2 vs theirs NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 (2048MB) driver: 442.19 OpenCL: 1.2) I have Kernel size for NVIDIA GPUs set 16 but definitely still get UI lags when it's using GPU (but quite randomly likely related to it using the CPU at lot). |

Oops.. looks like having it set at 16 makes it not work as well. Changing it to 19 or 20 helped, but brought machine to a crawl. |
