I want to be able to run Amicable on 64-bit ARM machines using debian linux. So far, I have been able to attach the project and start work on a task. But after about 20 hours, the "fraction done" is only about 0.01.

I am doing this test on an EC2 a1.xlarge instance, which has 4 cores and 8 GB RAM. Is it supposed to take such a log time to make this much progress? On a PC using a fairly old core i7, I was able to accumulate 34,181 credit points in much less time.

It does keep 2 CPU cores constantly busy, and the boinc.log gets "checkpointed' messages about once per minute.

I forgot to mention: I have hundreds (and potentially thousands) of powerful ARM-based machines ready to work, if your project has a working Arm build.
