Message 2229 - Posted: 6 Feb 2026, 8:25:28 UTC

I still see a huge pending rate :

- linux host with RTX 4070 Ti : 665 pending / 5047 valid
- macOS host with Radeon Pro 5700 XT (old crap) : 64 pending / 499 valid

So a very similar rate.

I'm not sure Dave. I still believe there are periods of time when we run out of work one being around 18 hours ago.
I'm more interested to know how come the server still has a 4.49 hour backlog?

Grafana gives a nice overview of the situation. There are still periods without tasks, although they are much shorter than during the challenge.

Yes I agree with you Grafana gives a wonderful view of the situation. I agree the outages are getting shorter
I have 731 pending 12,172 valid results. From a 4090 with a power cap of 320 W

Speedy and makracz, thanks for sharing the information. The Grafana graphs are wonderful! I agree that things are improving. My ratio of pending to valid results is similar to the ratio reported by Speedy. Likewise, my RAC is slowly creeping back to my expectations. I hope that things will continue to improve.

Nice to hear from you Dave. Yes it looks like I will hurt my goal in 9.27 days. I need about another 60,000,000 credits (I have taken into my pending into account"

Less than 48 hours until you hit your milestone?

In regards to processing work yes I believe it will be considerably less than 48 hours. I am only processing work until I reach my milestone, however to achieve my goal I will need to wait for my pending credit to clear. As of now I believe my total credit is 999,413,969

Congratulations on the milestone!

Thank you much appreciated! I did it with roughly 35 tasks to spare :-) meaning I processed roughly 35 more tasks than needed

Yes, I noticed that you are likely to earn another 400,000 credits due to those tasks pending validation. So, have you moved on to another project or have you stopped crunching for now?

Good luck with that project! I am going to hang on here until the work stops, then look for something new to do. Will probably retire another cruncher or two.

Dave I had a rethink. I could come back and follow in your path. In your opinion is this the best for decision for the server? I still have over 7000 valid results waiting to be deleted, going back to 6 January

Hi Speedy:

If you get satisfaction from contributing to Amicable, I would hang on to the end. You are currently ranked #196 in total credit. I seem to recall that you were earning about 6 million credits per day. The latest projection is that the project will end on March 30. So, you might accrue another 180 million credits before the project ends. That would probably get you into the top 170 in total credits, and might get you into the top 160. Seeing your total climb the leaderboard during the waning days of this project might be nice.

Regards,

Dave
