Amicable Numbers ?

Posted 27 Jun 2017 by Skivelitis2 Post: Thanks, Sergei! Have a few dual-boot hosts that I had thought to "revert" from Linux to Windows to crunch for a while on Win only apps, but won't bother with the hassle now. Looking forward to the new app! |

Are Badges On the Way?
(Message 212)
Posted 25 Feb 2017 by Skivelitis2 Post: Great to see progress on the badge front! A few suggestions however... If it is not too much trouble, I would suggest using the standard bronze, silver, gold for the first three badges. Also, I agree with pututu regarding the levels chosen. Not all users have GPUs and can imagine users with a single slower dual or quad core machine even becoming discouraged at the distance to the next badge level. Reasonably obtainable badge levels encourage many users to stick around. BTW: In my opinion, the badges don't need to be works of art. A simple representation of contribution is fine with me. |

Are Badges On the Way?

Posted 22 Feb 2017 by Skivelitis2 Post: The badge a day projects you mention, besides POGs, what other project does that? The pogs badge you are referring to is a total credit badge. As noted, there are many other "special" badges. At the statseb sig site you can easily modify your signature to show as many or as few of your accumulated badges as you prefer. Simply log in, click on customize my signature, then the modify tab, then select formatting. There you can select/deselect which badges are shown. You can see your pogs badges here as well as which galaxies you've helped process etc. The site requires registration but tinfoil hats are easy to make ;) |
