(Message 1880) Posted 3 Apr 2024 by Gordon Lack Post: I've recently had several CPU jobs that (would) have taken 2 or 3+ days to complete (the original estimate is just over 1 day). But I'm being sent several at a time. and the deadline is always 5 days from from when I'm sent them. So there is no way I can complete them all within that timescale (as I have several other projects running at the same time), so they start, overrun and the result is then irrelevant. So the deadline for CPU tasks needs to be raised considerably from the current 5 days.
