As a new user- I discovered my first 4 pairs- However in looking at them - the format of line 1 on the list is not clear. Some lines say X65 for type, others 65 - not sure what the difference is? The second question is that there seem to be some user/team names associated with my user id on Line 1: e.g. vanos512(listed on different sections), pomegranate2, ian . I am not a member of any team and don't know any of these teams/names. Is this an expected result? thanks |

The first line has format "Type Discoverer Year". You can read how the type of amicable pair is defined here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Amicable_numbers#Regular_pairs There are two discoverers for each amicable pair in this BOINC project because each work unit is processed by two different users and then the results from both users are compared. These two users are then listed in the order they completed the corresponding work unit. |
