G'day number crunchers! I have an issue with a Mac that I have just now hooked up to Amicable Numbers: BOINC manager says: ”This project doesn't support computers of the type arm64-apple-darwin” (translated from German). Hence, the machine doesn't get any WUs to work on. It' a Mac mini M4 Pro 12-core. However, I have other Apple silicon Macs running in the project, also one with the same version of Darwin. Has anyone got an idea what's wrong here? Thanks for your help! |

Your other Macs run x86_64-apple-darwin version, so I guess they use Rosetta. This is not an optimal way, but it's the best for Apple Silicon for now on this project. I need to finally add support for arm64-apple-darwin platform when I have more free time. |

Hi Sergei, that was exactly the reason for the malfunction: installing Rosetta sorted the problem. Thanks very much for the quick response! Regards, Henrik |
