I've added credit badges. The first badge is given for 1,000,000 total credit, the last badge is given for 1,000,000,000 total credit. I chose 1 million as an entry level because there are already 258 users above that value and their contribution is 97.2% of project's total credit. So if you've been active on the project, you should already have one of these badges.

Bronze stars: 1, 2, 5 million total credit
Silver stars: 10, 20, 50 million total credit
Gold stars: 100, 200, 500 million total credit
Big gold star: 1 billion total credit

Looking good! I like them :)

Only one thing left to do...
If someone have no badge for "top in average credit", the badges for "pairs found" or "total credit" are being placed directly to the username (without any space left).
Maybe I'am the only one, who's bothered by this but it looks a little s*#f%. Can we have some more cellpadding here? ;)

Just written...done :)

I like it, also this site...looks great in this "standard" template!
One of my favorites from all boinc-projects so far.

Well done man!

I will one day get a badge of something I am not sure what.
Your comment "So if you've been active on the project, you should already have one of these badges." does not quite ring true for me.
I have been active on the project since it started, but as I only use CPU's and also run other projects I have yet to attain any badge (total under 400,000 and Amicable Pairs 52), but still going and hope to get them sooner than later.

I agree with Conan here. Benn here since start of the project and stopped at a time I reached the 200 Amic pairs badge and have yet to achieve a credit badge. Missed the release of the GPU-app though...

The first badge is given for 1,000,000 total credit,
Well, I have to say that's a ridiculously high credit level for the lowest credit badge. Compare it with all the other projects - which also have GPU apps (Asteroids, PrimeGrid no name a few) - and you see that this is not very appropriate.
There are people who don't use GPU-apps for whatever reason and/or don't have much computers and/or don't run a project 24 hours a day. How long should they run the project to get a higher badge then?
It's already necessary for a Quad-Core system to run almost 6 days non-stop to get the million badge for example.
Please adjust the credit levels to at least the tenth of it - would be way more appropriate I think.

I think it's a perfectly balanced level for this project, because:
1) I don't just copycat other projects.
2) This project is a marathon, not a sprint.
3) I want to keep badges for this project valuable, each badge should give a sense of achievement.
4) This project has been running for 3.5 months so far and will keep running for a long time. 6 days on modern quad-core CPU is not that much. Even 12 days if one stops for the night.

It's OK DoctorNow, I was not complaining just stating that it will take me quite awhile to achieve any of the badges.
As Sergei has said it is not a sprint so that will suit me.
Targets are high yes, however you and I will get there but we wont do overnight.
When I do it will be an achievement and a half just on CPU.

I agree that 1mil being the first badge is too high because it'll be very hard to attract mid/low-end users to enjoy the project. 10k is nice, 100k is acceptable but 1mil is really a bit too much.

1) Setting it at 10k/100k does not sound copying others, it's more like a standard that is easy to remember. If you want something new, why not pick a 5-digit Amicable number as the credit required for the lowest badge?
2) Well that applies to almost all long-term projects, and most of them contain lower badges as well.
3) Fair enough, but a 100k badge would give a sense of achievement as for getting a 100k badge, while a 1mil badge would give a sense of achievement as for getting a 1mil badge. It doesn't get cheaper by adding lower badges because you still have to grind almost as much (i.e. 1mil) to gain the next badge given the exponential nature.
4) Same as 2. Also 6/12 days doesn't sound like an appropriate approximation for "general quad-core users" -- took me 2 weeks with 2 mid-top cpu + 1 gpu to get 1mil instead. Imagine those using cpus of less cores and a few generations back, and can only grind for a few hours per day, it may easily take 3 months for them to even think of the first badge. There are a lot of these kind of grinders contributing to those old projects, but it's hard to attract them given the current badge system.

Not complaining either (I've got the badges I want anyway), but I think the project could be more attractive by modifying the badges a bit.

I get your point, but what would be the badges for 100k, 200k and 500k? I have bronze-silver-gold system for higher badges. What would be before bronze badges?

As I already suggested making the levels the tenth of it so that the Bronze levels start at 100k would be something more reasonable from my POV.
Since the big gold star is at 1 million then you may introduce more badges in the higher - there could be so much more because other projects use Amethyst, Saphir etc.
I understand if you want to keep them by the amount because sometimes too much badges are also unattractive but a few more wouldn't kill it I guess. ;-)
If you're out of options with colours and motives I could help with that, I made badges for CSG some years ago.

Edit:
I thought about the levels if you want to keep the badge amount, how about this:
100k - 500k - 1m - 25m - 50m - 100m - 250m - 500m - 1b

Make them White, then the rest of the badges would be fine...

Guess I'll join some of the other badge hunters here in saying: I think the current levels make these badges a little more special than, say PrimeGrid. With regards to a comment suggesting white as a color for a more entry level badge, I was thinking that would be used for "diamond" if indeed more badge levels are added. Maybe a "hollow" star for more entry level badges. Just a thought :)

Is there any implementation possible for people that are in a pool to get badge updates instead of just the pool getting the badge updates. I made user of the day but my user profile looks bleak. No biggie really, just curious. Thanks

"Pool" user is opaque, i.e. the project doesn't know who exactly runs tasks behind pool's user account. It can only be done on corresponding pool's side.
