GPU application version is available for beta-testing now released as of February 28th. Both AMD (HD 5xxx or newer) and NVIDIA GPUs are supported. 1 GB of video RAM is required. To test it, enable "Run test applications" in project preferences here: https://sech.me/boinc/Amicable/prefs.php?subset=project

By Default you have turned them on.

Test applications? No.
"Use ATI GPU" - defaults to yes.
"Use NVIDIA GPU" - defaults to yes.
"Run test applications?" - defaults to no.

All GPU applications are in beta test now, they're off by default.

Would it be possible to have Intel OpenCL applications as well?

Would it be possible to have Intel OpenCL applications as well?

I tried it already and it doesn't work:
1) It gives some weird and uninformative compilation error on my notebook.
2) It compiles on my desktop PC, but hangs quickly and entirely when I start it.
My tests have shown that it's some bug in Intel's OpenCL compiler, even with latest drivers. It can run simple OpenCL code, but when it comes to current GPU code, it just fails.

It seems you need a 1gb VRAM card/chip to run the app... that wasn't noted.

GPU version has been running smooth, and version 1.09 fixed user interface lags, so version 1.09 is not beta anymore.

It requires 920 MB, so 991 MB should be enough. Double check your settings here: https://sech.me/boinc/Amicable/prefs.php?subset=project. "Use ATI GPU" should be selected everywhere.

I know why you don't get tasks for that PC: Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium x86 Edition, Service Pack 2, (06.00.6002.00).

All application versions are 64-bit, so they need 64-bit operating system.
